**One line:** Earth Returns R&D built the Proven Improvement Evaluation and continues
to develop and improve it — increasingly through larger funded research projects.

## What R&D does

- Established and built the PIE (see pie.md).
- Continually refines the evaluation framework and its 330+ data points.
- Runs and partners on larger funded projects with research universities and other
  organisations.

## Why a subdomain

Lives at rnd.earthreturns.life so research updates can be posted on their own cadence
without disturbing the main site.
